AI and Data Use Policy
Last Updated: June 1, 2026 · Current version: https://insidegroup.ai/legal/ai-policy
This AI and Data Use Policy explains how Zeitlos Ventures LLC (“InsideGroup,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses artificial intelligence and data in connection with the InsideGroup Services.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, Subprocessors page, and Security page.
1. Key Terms
Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given in our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
“AI Features” means features that use artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, embeddings, automated analysis, summarization, classification, extraction, recommendation, generation, or similar technologies.
“Private Group Data” means non-public Group messages, files, metadata, membership, activity, summaries, classifications, analytics, and other information made available through a private or access-controlled Group.
“Private Member Data” means non-public information associated with a Member, including private profile fields, contact information, preferences, Connected Account data, Group-Scoped Member Records, private activity, and other Member information not intentionally published or made broadly visible by the Member.
“Public or Member-Published Data” means information that a Member chooses to make public or broadly visible through the Services, such as public profile fields, public directory fields, public posts, or other information intentionally published or authorized for broader discovery.
WhatsApp group messages and metadata are treated as Group Data and are not treated as public merely because they are visible to participants in a WhatsApp group.

We may add, change, or remove AI Features over time.

Depending on the features enabled, AI Features may process:

We use this data to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, Terms of Service, this Policy, and any applicable customer agreement.
4. No Sale or Behavioral Advertising
We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.
We do not use Group Data, Private Group Data, Private Member Data, or unclaimed Group-Scoped Member Records to serve third-party behavioral advertising.
We may offer paid Services, sponsored opportunities, recruiting workflows, introductions, commercial partnerships, or other business features, subject to the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, applicable settings, customer instructions, Member choices, and applicable law.
5. Third-Party Foundation Model Training
We do not use Private Group Data, Private Member Data, or unclaimed Group-Scoped Member Records to train third-party foundation models unless the applicable Group Owner or Member expressly opts in, agrees in writing, or otherwise provides clear authorization where required.
We may use third-party AI providers to process data in order to provide AI Features, such as summarization, classification, extraction, search, recommendations, or generation. This processing is used to provide the requested Services and is not the same as training the provider’s general-purpose models. We contractually require third-party AI providers not to use Private Group Data or Private Member Data to train or improve their own general-purpose models.
Any exception to this section requires express opt-in, written agreement, or other clear authorization from the applicable Group Owner or Member, where required. This Section does not restrict our use of aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
6. InsideGroup Models and Product Improvement
We may use service usage information, diagnostic data, performance data, feedback, aggregated information, anonymized information, de-identified information, minimized information, or redacted information to improve, secure, evaluate, and develop the Services, including InsideGroup’s own models, systems, safety tools, search, matching, recommendations, and other features.
We do not use identifiable Private Group Data, Private Member Data, or unclaimed Group-Scoped Member Records for general product improvement unless reasonably necessary to provide, secure, debug, support, maintain, evaluate, or improve the specific Services used by the applicable Group Owner or Member, or unless otherwise agreed, authorized, or opted into, or where we provide notice and an opportunity to opt out, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where reasonably practicable, we use aggregated, anonymized, de-identified, minimized, or redacted data for product improvement and AI quality evaluation.
7. Claimed, Public, Opt-In, and Authorized Data
If a Member claims a profile, creates an account, connects an account, publishes profile fields, opts into platform-level features, or authorizes broader discovery, we may use that data to provide and improve platform-level features, including:
search;
discovery;
recommendations;
introductions;
matching;
profile portability;
personal group-management tools;
cross-Group or network features;
safety and abuse prevention;
product analytics and service improvement.
Such use is subject to the Member’s settings, applicable law, this Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable customer or Member agreement.
8. Human Review
Authorized InsideGroup personnel or service providers may access limited data only where reasonably necessary to:
provide customer support;
investigate bugs, errors, or service issues;
protect security and prevent abuse;
comply with law;
enforce our Terms of Service;
respond to a request from a Group Owner or Member;
evaluate or improve AI Feature quality using minimized, redacted, aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data where reasonably practicable.
Access is limited based on business need and is subject to confidentiality obligations.
We do not allow personnel or contractors to access Private Group Data, private messages, or Private Member Data for unrelated purposes.
9. AI Output Accuracy and Limitations
AI Features may produce outputs that are inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, offensive, misleading, or unsuitable for your intended use.
AI-generated summaries, classifications, recommendations, extractions, and messages should be treated as assistance, not as definitive truth.
You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them, sharing them, or using them to make decisions.
The Terms of Service contain additional warranty disclaimers, liability limitations, and usage restrictions that apply to AI Features and AI-generated outputs.
10. AI as Decision Support
AI Features are designed to support human review and decision-making.
They are not intended to be used as the sole basis for decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals, including decisions about employment, credit, housing, healthcare, education, eligibility, admission, exclusion, or access to important opportunities.
Group Owners and Members are responsible for ensuring appropriate human review and compliance with applicable law before relying on AI outputs in consequential contexts.
11. Sensitive Data
Groups and messages may contain sensitive information.
You should not use the Services to collect, process, infer, or expose sensitive information unless you have the legal right and appropriate consent, authority, or other lawful basis to do so.
Sensitive information may include information about health, religion, political opinions, race or ethnicity, trade union membership, sexual orientation, biometric data, precise location, financial information, children, legal matters, or other protected categories under applicable law.
Group Owners are responsible for configuring their Groups and use of the Services appropriately.
12. Connected Accounts and Messaging Platforms
Some AI Features may depend on Connected Accounts or third-party services, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google, messaging platforms, cloud providers, or AI providers.
When you connect a third-party account or enable an integration, data may be processed by that third party according to its own terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to connect accounts, import data, analyze messages, and use AI Features with any Group or Connected Account.
13. Group Owner Responsibilities
Group Owners are responsible for:
providing required notices to Members;
obtaining required consents, permissions, or other lawful basis;
ensuring they have authority to process Group Data and Member Data;
deciding which AI Features to enable for their Groups;
using AI outputs responsibly;
reviewing AI-generated outputs before taking action;
complying with applicable laws and third-party platform rules.
InsideGroup may provide tools, settings, or documentation to help Group Owners manage these responsibilities.
14. Member Choices
Where supported by the Services, Members may be able to:
claim or update profiles;
change profile visibility;
opt into or out of certain platform-level features;
disconnect Connected Accounts;
request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information;
manage communication preferences.
Available choices may depend on the feature, the Group Owner’s settings, applicable law, and whether InsideGroup is acting as a processor for a Group Owner or as an independent controller for platform-level services.
15. Security and Retention
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data processed through AI Features.
AI-related data may be retained as needed to provide, secure, debug, support, audit, evaluate, and improve the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, feature, customer settings, legal requirements, and applicable agreements. Additional retention details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
16. Prohibited AI Uses
You may not use AI Features to:
violate law or third-party rights;
harass, threaten, stalk, or discriminate against individuals;
generate spam or deceptive communications;
impersonate others or misrepresent authority;
unlawfully monitor or profile individuals;
infer sensitive characteristics without proper authority;
make high-impact decisions without appropriate human review;
bypass privacy, security, or consent requirements;
extract or expose personal data without authorization;
use Group Data or Member Data in a way that violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.
Violation of this Policy or misuse of AI Features may result in suspension, restriction, or termination of access to the Services, as described in our Terms of Service.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AI and Data Use Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will provide notice through reasonable means, such as posting the updated Policy, updating the “Last Updated” date, or notifying affected Group Owners or Members where appropriate.
